Hi,
was just feeling a little jobless...so i thought id just bore u all with another mail..well actually.. i thought id just talk abt sum amusing things here.well..back home in india..i geuss using plastic cards...u know the ones...like credit cards, is fashionable..but here its almost a mania....u have a card for every damn thing that it actually gets on ur nerves....well at the moment i have an international students card. a university of plymouth card, a marine biological assn card, a National unoion of students card (NUS). a sainsbury nectar card( for shoppin in sainsbury s) and a Tesco club card( for shoping there)..(they are the main super markets there...(see attachment) and i`m yet to get a bank card..and then i`ll be getting cards for takin photocopies at the univ , another one for the same at the MBA, ...and maybe i`ll have to buy another card to make calls to india...how many were those?..i`ve lost count...well..to be a little optimistic...i hear they had separate cards for the library.., to hand in coursework..and for sports...last year. they ve combined them this year!.....well u can imagine what my wallet looks like now.....well actually..its not too fat...i wonder why...maybev because there`s no money in them....oh yeah talking about money here....i geuss u atleast need 10 pence in the least to buy something..(havnt found anything i can get for it though)...but the thing is that most of the items are like 86 pence or 2p0und 93 pence or one pound 52 pence.....well i wonder why they dont round it off. ..and well they actually insist on returning every pence of the change back.. so if something wer 52 pence they would actually give u back five pence and 3 one pence....ya i know what u all are thinking now...how much is that in indian rupee.,,is nt it...well how much ever that is....i dont care because i`ve already got a huge collection of one pence coins...and i`m not exactly pleased with it...ya i know many drops make an ocean...but can u imagine me counting out a hundred and fifty coins to pay a bill of 1£ 50 cents?...in a way ..i wonder what everone does with their change...i was not surprised the other day when i went to a chinese friends place and saw a huge mug full of one and two pence...ooh if thats the way my money gonna go,...it does nt sound very good.
mmm..thats enough blabbering for now..
will be back with more nonsense.
love
Thomas
